When looking at the images Fanni has found of Mother Nature, I was reminded of the artist Guiseppe Archimboldo. He was an Italian painter born in 1527 and he create piece of art that looked similar to the style of work in which the artist who create the Mother Nature had also used, this being the style of create one object from several smaller ones, but also in the way that they have both used the theme of nature as a main component to their work. Although this artist isn’t a 3D artist His work is still very photo realistic to a certain degree. while looking into the work of Guiseppe Archimboldo, I also looked into other artists that use a similar style and came across the artist Carl Warner. His work doesn’t use the same subject in the way it isn’t used to be create portraits but instead incorporated into landscape images. I find this work interesting because of the way the artist has made the pieces look so detailed while using the different food products.
This would be a nice style to look into using somewhere in the end production.
I have also been looking into artists that create photorealistic landscape and cityscape images, while I was searching I found two artist who I really liked the style of their pieces and they are Thomas Moran, who creates very life like paintings, he was born in 1837, his work is well known, with one piece even being placed on the wall of the oval office. His pieces of work have a very realistic and detailed look to them and I really like the traditional style that is used by the artist.
The other artist that I was very interested in was Henderson Cisz, he was born in 1960 and was also a painter, although none of the artist I have looked at are digital or 3D artist their work is all very detailed and inspiring for the overall look we are trying to achieve with our project. The painted effects from the artists work would give a nice texture to the end project.
